Electronic Signature for private entities

The application to be equipped with the electronic signature service is carried out from the applicant’s personal account as a citizen on the e-Albania portal using the service:

In the above service is also carried out the application for the renewal of the electronic signature.

The application for foreign citizens is carried out from the business account on the e-Albania portal where the applicant is employed by clicking the “Apply for electronic signature” button in the application window. For foreign citizens, personal data is filled in manually by them.

Users who use USB Token for authentication, e.g. operators of critical and important infrastructures will continue to use this technology.

The application to be equipped with the USB Token for the first time will be done from their personal account as a citizen using the service:

Meanwhile, the renewal of the electronic signature of the USB Token is carried out by submitting at NAIS:

  • The accompanying letter with the request for the renewal of the electronic signature signed and sealed (physically) by the administrator
  • Photocopies of the identity card
  • USB Token

The provision of this service is carried out every working day near the offices of NAIS from 11:00 to 14:00 o’clock.
