Electronic signature for public administration

Application for Electronic Signature:

  1. a) The procedure to be equipped with the electronic signature for Government Employees must be completed online through the e-Albania portal, using the service:

Users who use USB Token for authentication, e.g. operators of critical and important infrastructures will continue to use this technology.

The application to be equipped with the USB Token for the first time will be done from their personal account as a citizen using the service:

Meanwhile, the renewal of the electronic signature of the USB Token is carried out by submitting at NAIS:

  • The accompanying letter with the request for the renewal of the electronic signature signed and sealed (physically) by the head of the institution
  • Photocopy of the identity card
  • USB Token

The assistance for this service is provided every working day at the offices of AKSHI from 11:00 to 14:00. 

For any information related to the electronic signature, in the absence of the person holding the electronic signature, any third party must have an authorisation by the person to whom the signature belongs to receive information.
